The Member of Parliament for Wa East, Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw has officially renovated and re-equipped the Chaggu-Chaggu-Paala Chips compound in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region. The initiative aims to significantly enhance primary healthcare delivery for the local population.
At a handover ceremony, the MP presented the refurbished facility to the Ghana Health Service. The project included the provision of essential medical items, such as patient beds and blood pressure apparatus, to support the compound's operations.
At the ceremony held in Chaggu, the Wa East District Director of Health Services Dr. Benjamin, commended the MP's ongoing commitment to upgrading health infrastructure. He stated that the intervention would greatly improve access to quality healthcare for residents of Chaggu-Chaggu-Paala and neighboring areas, reducing the need for long-distance travel for medical services.
Dr. Jasaw reaffirmed his focus on healthcare as a fundamental pillar of development, emphasizing that robust health systems are vital for community well-being and productivity.
The upgraded facility is expected to contribute to better health outcomes for the community.
